Welcome aboard, Roseann!
You'll soon be enjoying your
Very Merrytime Cruise onboard the Disney Fantasy - Congratulations! My family and I were just on the Fantasy a couple of months ago, and we are still going through withdrawal symptoms. Be warned... you might get hooked and want to book your next cruise vacation while still on the ship :-).
Planning your outfits for your cruise isn't as tough as it seems. Your kids will likely re-use a few tops & bottoms, and you can also do a load of laundry if you'd like, while onboard. Each of us usually brings 2 swimsuits each and a pair of slippers... those are top on the list. My teenage daughter will usually bring 2-3 nice sundresses which she can use at dinner time. Pair it up with ballet flats, and you've got a nice dinner ensemble. Try to choose bright colors for a couple of tops that go nicely with either a skirt or a nice pair of shorts that she can alternate.
My son will usually pack 2-3 board shorts that also double as his shorts for playing during the day. I pack 4 collared shirts in bright colors, since these are easy for him to put on for dinner on top of nice khaki shorts. He likes to bring his slip-on boat shoes since he can wear it on the optional formal night and the nightly dinners, as he likes being a little bit more dressed up than usual. He'll bring 1 dark jeans or dress slacks that go nicely with one of his collared shirts for formal night. A couple other t-shirts and he's all set for vacation.
Don't forget Pirate Night costumes or matching shirts :-). Here's additional info on cruise outfits on this

I hope this helps, Roseann!
Happy planning,
~ Dolly
