    Hi! My family and I will be going on our first cruise this August! I am still nursing our littlest who will be just under one when we cruise. Are the ships generally breastfeeding friendly? Are there specified areas for nursing/pumping throughout?

    Hi Jenn!

    Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited about your inaugural voyage sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey! You and your family are in store for so much fun and excitement during your cruise! We brought my son on his first cruise when he was 6 months old. I'll never forget the first time he met Mickey and Minnie; we were walking around deck and there they were! It was such a magical moment and I'm so glad I was able to snap pictures of it!

    In my opinion, Disney Cruise Line's ships are extremely breastfeeding-friendly environments! To my knowledge there are no designated areas for pumping or feeding your tiny buccaneer so I suggest finding a quiet spot with a gorgeous view! I love waking up and snuggling my son on our verandah every morning. If you have a stateroom with a verandah, you might enjoy that space for feeding your little one. While you're out and about around the ship, you may want to check out the lounge chairs on Deck 4 as well. You are welcome to feed your munchkin anywhere, anytime!

    I'm so excited for you to see how Disney Cruise Line makes Traveling with Little Ones so easy! Hopefully, this will be the first of many cruises! If you have any other questions before setting sail, please come back and visit us again!
