My family is on the Fantasy sailing Aug 13, 2022. How/where do I find out which night is Pirate night ahead of our booking window opening up? I'd like to be fully prepared when the window opens! Did I also read that there will be a Star Wars night?

Ahoy there, Mark! Welcome aboard planDisney!

Ah, August on the Disney Fantasy. Now there's an itinerary any sailor would be proud of which to be a part! The Western Caribbean is a fine stretch o' the sea that time of year, and barring any change in the weather, ye'll have a truly magical time aboard yer ship!

What's that? My accent is a bit funny? Now, what d'ya suppose could be the cause o' that?

AH HA HA HA! Ye be a real wise hand, there Mark - saw right through me disguise! WELCOME ABOARD, indeed! We pirates do love a good party aboard the Disney Fantasy, and yer itinerary be no exception. Savvy plannin' to be wonderin' when we'll be boardin, too!

Now the Pirate Code says many things things, but one of the first - right after that bit about Parley - is about the element of surprise. How do you think we'd be received, if every ship we boarded knew when we was a comin'? I suppose just about as well as any other boardin'... In any case, I'll let ye in on a little secret: on Western Caribbean itineraries, we do enjoy takin' control o' the ship as ye be leavin' the fine port of Falmouth, Jamaica...

    Usually, that be...

Arr, matey, we have to keep ye guessin' a least a bit, as the pirate code be about most things, when it comes to plannin' a Pirate Night, the code is what you would call guidelines more than actual rules...this all to mean we're known to change our minds as the ship changes course, so be sure to keep that handy bit o' tech, the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, handy once you board.

Now I know about stars, and me hull's a burstin with bounty from wars, but I'm unfamiliar of the two together. Honestly, the parrot's the expert on special days at sea...AYE, POLLY, WHAT BE THE STATE OF THE STAR WARS NIGHTS?

    (whistles and clicks)

Best we can tell, that means Polly says ye should check somethin' called yer reservation email. It be the best map to tell about a Star Wars Day at Sea. If yer Itinerary includes one, it be listed both on yer email and in yer "My Reservations" section on the site.

If not, yer just stuck with me and me crew, savvy?

I hope that gives ye a bit o' help as yer plans come together, Mark. Thanks for fillin' our sails with yer questions, and we'll see ye and yer crew aboard this August. Keep a weather eye on the horizon for our colors, and if ye have any other last - drop us a line or better yet a message in a bottle - back here at planDisney.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me!
