My family and I will have a Family Vacations at Disney during the month of May. We really need a good coffee in the morning, seriously, we need it. Can we bring our own coffee maker to prepare coffee in the morning? Will this be possible? Thanks!

    Hi there Edwin,

GREAT question!  I am a coffee connoisseur, myself, so I totally understand the importance of being able to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee in the morning before heading out to the parks.  I am excited to answer this question, because I have traveled to The Walt Disney World Resort with just about every coffee-making apparatus you could imagine!

You can definitely bring your own coffee maker with you but depending on where you are staying, your room may be equipped with a coffee maker.  If you write back to me with your resort information, I can reply with the coffee maker information so you can plan to bring filters and coffee to fit that particular maker.

You will also want to bring along your own sugar and creamer if you use those items and maybe even your favorite mugs.  Some rooms will have ceramic mugs, but others will have styrofoam type insulated disposable cups.  So it just really depends on how fussy you are.

I have recently started bringing a French Press and my own ground coffee.  I am able to use the in-room coffee maker for the hot water and this is just a really compact option and great for traveling!

Hope these suggestions help, and please don't hesitate to write back with your hotel information and I will happily provide more specific details!

    Thank you,

    Amanda F.
