Hi, James! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Personally, I think that the
Tables in Wonderland is the best bang for your buck unless you happen to visit during a special
Disney Dining Plan promotion. I have actually thought about purchasing an Annual Pass just to be able to qualify to purchase Tables in Wonderland as it is only available to Florida Residents, Disney Vacation Club® Members, and Passholders. Did I mention that the 20% discount also applies to any alcohol you order with your meal at participating Disney restaurants? However, if you plan on many Character Dining Experiences, then the Disney Dining Plan can be a great value, too!
Akushus Royal Banquet Hall is, to me, a great use of a Disney Dining Plan Table Credit as it only requires 1 Table Service credit per Guest and the
Princess meet and greets at your table are fantastic. If you do decide to go the Disney Dining Plan route, you will get more value from a dinner as opposed to a breakfast in most cases.
If you decide to pay for your meals A la Carte, then breakfasts and lunches are sometimes less expensive than dinners. If you do plan on having dinner A la Carte, there are a few Disney restaurants that spring to mind in terms of value:
-Beaches and Cream
-50’s Prime Time Cafe
-Tusker House Restaurant
-Trails End
These are just a few of my personal choices when I am dining on a budget but still want delicious Disney quality food!
I hope this answers your question and please come back soon! We love to help plan magical vacations!
Bon appétit!
Jen
