Hiya Jose,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m so excited that you and your family are eager to experience Walt Disney World Resort. So many incredible things are happening at the Most Magical Place on Earth that it is the ideal time to visit. The
Disney 100 Celebration is going on, and in October, one of my favorite after-hours events,
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, is in full swing. I’m not a fan of spooky, but when you combine trick-or-treat, extra time in Magic Kingdom Park, and yummy treats, you have me sold! If you have never attended an after-hours Walt Disney World Resort event, you are in for a treat.
Speaking of a treat, staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel is a great way to make your vacation even more magical. There are many
benefits to staying at a resort hotel, including extra time in the Theme Parks, early access to purchasing
Individual Lightning Lane entrances, incredible activities/recreation, and complimentary standard parking at the Theme Parks. For me, I prefer staying at a resort hotel for proximity to the Theme Parks. I have a little Mouseketeer, and it is so important to me that I can get around to the Theme Parks quickly. Whenever she needs a break from the Theme Parks or a nap, hopping to my resort hotel is easy. Depending on where you stay, you have access to buses, boats, monorails, and even the
Disney Skyliner. Not only is it convenient, but it is also so much fun for my daughter. She loved the Disney Skyliner last visit! Another one of my favorite perks of staying on-site is being able to stay in the magic. Part of visiting Walt Disney World Resort is the magic of being there. I love that even after leaving the Theme Parks, I still feel like I’m in a fairytale dream.
No matter your budget, there is a Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel to fit your needs. As you continue to make your decision, please feel free to contact us for more suggestions. Between all of us panelists, we have probably stayed at every resort hotel at least once, so we would be happy to give you recommendations.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
