Greetings, Jessica, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited for you to visit the Disneyland Resort during the holiday season. It's my favorite time of year at the parks, with the beautiful decorations, jolly entertainment, festive merchandise, and more.
The
"Believe...In Holiday Magic," Fireworks Spectacular is a pure delight – the lights, music, bursts of color in the sky, and a "snowfall" in specific locations – it all comes together in a way that really immerses you in the spirit of the season. I understand why it's high on your list! In past years, fireworks as well as other entertainment offerings were typically available on weeknights in December. However, we'll know for sure about December 2025 once the
Hours and Events Calendar is updated. It reflects entertainment schedules, park hours, and planned refurbishments as far as six weeks out, so you should circle back to it in mid-November. You could even take a look at the calendar in early October to see what the schedules will look like in mid-November after the holiday season kicks off.
I also suggest following the
Disney Parks Blog, as they will likely share a guide for the holiday season in the coming months. Check out the
sneak-peak article that teases out some of the exciting things Guests can expect.
Keep in mind that fireworks can be cancelled due to weather conditions or other circumstances. You may want to build in time to watch the show a few different nights of your visit, just in case your first attempt doesn't work out. Watching in front of
Sleeping Beauty Castle is certainly iconic, but my family usually heads towards"it's a small world" to watch the show – it's typically a little less busy compared to the castle or Main Street, U.S.A., and it's one of the locations with "snowfall" during the show.
Jessica, I hope you and your family have a jolly holiday visit to the Disneyland Resort. If you have any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney.
Wishing you magic,
Kriss
