Star spangled greetings, Katie, and welcome to planDisney where we, the peop...er...panelists, are here to answer all your Disney vacation planning questions. It sounds like you're ready to party like it's 1776, and I'm happy to help you plan out your fireworks-viewing strategy.
When I read
this Disney Parks Blog article about all that the Walt Disney Company has planned to help celebrate America's 250th anniversary, I was also excited to see that Disney's Celebrate America! - A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky is planned for all three nights of the holiday weekend, July 3-5. I took a look at the
Hours & Events Calendar for July 3, 4 and 5 and found that the Magic Kingdom Fireworks & Nighttime Entertainment section hasn't been updated yet, but it should be soon. EPCOT'S Luminous The Symphony of Us is scheduled for 9 PM all three nights, however. In the past, there has been what's referred to as a holiday tag on the end of EPCOT's fireworks on July 4, although this hasn't been confirmed for this year yet. I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and Disney Parks social media for updates.
Speaking of celebrating America's 250th anniversary,
Soarin' Across America will be debuting on May 26 at EPCOT, so if that interests you, I hope you'll make time for this unique version of Soarin'. Also opening on May 26 is
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets. I don't know about you, but I'm more than ready for some Electric Mayhem!
I hope you have a fabulous trip and that you'll be red, white and blown away by all the Walt Disney World fireworks while you're there. We'd love for you to visit us again with any other planning questions.
Let your dreams guide you!
