Our family of 4 is excited to sail to Alaska in August. We are staying in a concierge suite and wondering what amenities will be available to us. We're familiar with the concierge lounges from the Dream and Fantasy, but this is our 1st time on the Wonder.

    Hi Jani -

You've got an awesome voyage coming up in August. The Alaskan voyage onboard the Disney Wonder is absolutely different compared to any of the other itineraries around the world. It's a very different experience and this adventure will surely be magical in every way for you and your family.

The Wonder is a classic ship, much smaller than the Dream and the Fantasy. It is also their older sister ship, with her very own special touches that makes each ship different and memorable. Since you've had the opportunity to sail the Concierge level on the Dream and the Fantasy, the one thing that you'll immediately notice is the fact that there is no Concierge Lounge on the Disney Wonder. You can rely on great service from your dedicated Concierge team (there are at least 2 of them), from pre-voyage travel assistance, to planning your port excursions and onboard activities while on your voyage.

You'll find invitations to special events throughout your voyage planned just for Concierge level guests. When we sailed Concierge on the Wonder, we had daily events going on in various reserved sections on the ship. Food and Drinks (including alcohol) would be hosted and free, and we'd have Disney characters come spend time with us too. The kids surely loved having characters almost all to themselves (or just another handful of young cruisers). A lot of special goodies arrived magically in our stateroom each day - from snacks to little goodies and gifts for everyone in our stateroom. We also had our suite refrigerator well stocked.

I'm sure you'll have a great time exploring the beauty of Alaska, Jani.  Cruising through Tracy Arm is mesmerizing as you feel the captain steer through this tight passage -- and then do a 360 degree turn!

    Have an awesome vacation!
