My family is so excited about our first visit to WDW!!!! We arrive 12/18/2013 at 2:45 pm at the Orlando Airport. Will we arrive in time to catch dinner and the Fantasmic show (using Magic Express Ground Transportation)? We are staying at Disney's AOA:)

I love to hear that excitement!

So if you land at 2:45 pm, you are probably able to get to your resort, via Magical Express (as well as checked in) by no later than 5 pm. That is assuming a lot of delays, which are not likely to all happen at once. So really you should be in by 4:30 pm.

Assuming you are ready to grab a bus from the Art of Animation to Hollywood Studios at 4:30 pm, you should be ready for a 5 pm dinner, roughly.

Fantasmic! that evening is held at 6:30 pm, which means you should have a good hour for dinner, and time to get in line for Fantasmic to get a decent seat.

A few notes. Delays can happen to anyone. Your flight could arrive late. Your Magical Express bus might have other resort stops before yours. You might have a longer than typical wait for a bus from the resort to the park.

If you find that delays are pushing you later, your first option is to cab it from the resort to the park. Another option is to go with a quick service dinner instead of a table service dinner. Regardless of what you do, just do your best to be in line for the show AT LEAST 30 minutes before showtime. And if you really prize having a good seat in the center of the auditorium, then try to be there more like 45 minutes early.

    Have a magical vacation!
