Our family will be enjoying MNSSHP on October 23rd. Is there anything specific we should take with us such as flashlights, glow sticks, trick or treat bags, etc? We are so excited and can't wait!!!

    Hi Jennifer,

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is one of my favorite events at the Magic Kingdom.  Kids and adults are encouraged to get in the spirit and dress up for this occasion.  When selecting a costume, keep in mind that you'll be boarding attractions so you won't want to dress in anything too bulky or cumbersome.  Also keep in mind that you'll be doing a lot of walking so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

Trick-or-treat bags are provided but you are welcome to bring your own.  Some guests use them as part of their costumes.  One of my sons used his Indiana Jones satchel as his ToT bag one year.  We usually take glow sticks or necklaces because they are cheaper than buying them in the park.  I also used battery powered lights to decorate my special needs son's stroller.

Be sure you bring your camera for this event. You'll be able to capture some amazing photos including some of characters that usually only appear on rare occasions.

Wishing you minnie spooktacular memories :-) Allison
