Hello Rebecca,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
The way I see it, when you're planning a vacation like a Disney destination vacation, it's helpful to be able to make those plans with some peace of mind. One note that I can share, a note that reflects my own opinion and experience, is that I've always found Cast Members to be very understanding and genuinely interested in helping to the extent that they can when unexpected circumstances arise.
It's helpful to know that while
theme park tickets for the Disneyland Resort are nonrefundable, the tickets have valid use dates that give a timeframe for using the tickets. So, in the event that you don't get to use the tickets for admission as originally expected, the tickets remain valid until their expiration.
By way of example, multi-day theme park tickets purchased today would need to be used by January 12, 2023, or within 13 days of the first day the ticket is used for admission, whichever date comes first.
One more peace-of-mind piece of news is this: the amount paid for theme park tickets that expire after going unused can be applied to the purchase of new theme park tickets.
Rebecca, I hope this information helps with your ease of planning. If you have questions about theme park ticket terms and conditions, my recommendation would be to
call the Disneyland Resort Ticket Services team at (714) 781-4636 and discuss your questions and your circumstances.
One more recommendation, Rebecca, is to
follow the Disney Parks Blog as a fun way to keep up to date with all that's new and exciting coming to the Disneyland Resort.
Rebecca, here's wishing you a wonderful visit to the Disneyland Resort, and here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!
Jerry
