Hi there Betha,
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question. I'm really sorry to hear about your family emergency and hope everything works out okay for you all.
It can be really stressful to have to figure out changing travel plans - especially due to emergencies - luckily
theme park tickets for the Disneyland Resort are fairly flexible.
First, the tickets typically don't expire for quite a while after purchasing. For example, if you purchased theme park tickets today then they would not expire until January 12, 2025 - as long as they remained wholly unused. To find the expiration date for your tickets, you can check the confirmation email you received when you purchased them. I'd search your inbox for "Disneyland Confirmation" if you purchased them directly from the
Disneyland Resort website.
Even when tickets do expire, they remain tied to your Disneyland account, which means you're able to
apply the amount you paid for your expired tickets toward the purchase of new tickets whenever you're ready to plan your next trip. Again, if you purchased your tickets directly from the Disneyland Resort website and they end up expiring before you're able to visit, I would recommend
calling a Cast Member at the Tickets line for more info when you're ready to buy your new tickets.
I hope that is helpful information for you, Bertha, but more importantly - I hope everything works out with your family! Thank you again for visiting planDisney and please come back to see us when you're ready with more planning questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
