Hi Doris,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting that you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort in June! I am thrilled that you are considering
Memory Maker. My family absolutely loves it, especially because we have been able to link it across multiple reservations when traveling with different family members.
You are correct. Memory Maker is primarily a digital resource. There are, however, a variety of additional
PhotoPass Products available for purchase from PhotoPass Services. Currently, you can purchase an archive disk of your photos for $29.95. This $29.95 would be in addition to your Memory Maker purchase. Along with your personal Memory Maker photos, the archive disk purchase will include the Walt Disney World Gallery Disk. Remember that prices can change.
Before spending additional money, I recommend finding a public library, coffee shop, or restaurant that has free internet and using that internet to download your Memory Maker Photos. I have downloaded our Memory Maker Photos to my cell phone and laptop.
I do have a few additional tips. Be sure to have your Magic Band scanned with the Disney PhotoPass Photographer that takes the photos. Link your Memory Maker to your
My Disney Experience Account. Also, check your My Disney Experience Account while you are on vacation to be sure that all of your photos appear. If you are missing photos, you can go to a
PhotoPass Service Location and a Cast Member will help you locate them. You will need to know the location where the photo was taken and the approximate time it was taken.
Happy Planning!
