Hello ! My family is going to DW in July..Really want to go to Ohana's for dinner. My teenage daughter is very picky..Can she get something else to eat,if so would I still be charged the price of the buffet, even though she wouldnt be eating that..

    Hi Robin,

The restaurants at Walt Disney World are world-famous for their willingness to address guests' dining restrictions and preferences.  You won't find a more accommodating culinary staff anywhere.

Here's what I recommend regarding your dinner at 'Ohana.  This restaurant offers a family-style dinner service, not a buffet.  Check out the typical dinner offerings for 'Ohana at the independent fan site, www.allears.net in advance of your meal.  You'll notice there's quite a nice variety of choices.  If, however, there is nothing that appeals to your teenage daughter, you could either cancel your reservation now or ask the waitstaff at the beginning of your meal that evening if any substitutions can be made.  I know they will make substitutions for children under ten so I imagine they will do their best to find something appealing for your daughter.

Enjoy your meal at 'Ohana and don't forget that the beach behind Disney's Polynesian Resort is one of the best places from which you can watch the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular (fireworks above Cinderella Castle).  The Electrical Water Pageant glides by nightly too at 9 pm.

    Have fun!
