My family and I are going to DW in Jan 2011. There will be 15 of us going. 9 adults and 6 kids. I wanted to do the fireworks cruise, but I read Disney has changed that. What on site hotels could we stay at on a budget? Luv the panel!! It's a great help

Hi Joshua! Thanks for the compliments, we love helping guests plan their magical vacations!

With 15 in your traveling party, you qualify as a "Grand Gathering". This means that your group will be eligible for several Grand Gathering Experiences such as: the Safari Celebration Dinner, the Good Morning Gathering and the International Dinner & IllumiNations Dessert Reception. The fireworks cruise that you are referring to is still available (our family did it when it was a Grand Gathering Experience). It's just not exclusively for G.G. parties anymore. If you are still interested in it, you can sign up for it still.

As far as the most affordable option for you, it will depend on how your party is divided (how many people in each room). Your best bet is to call Disney's Grand Gathering Travel Planners at: 407-WDW-PLAN (407-939-7526). They can help you choose the best Resort option for your group as well as assist in making Dining Reservations and more.

Hope this helps and have fun planning your trip! Please let me know if you need further assistance as your travel date approaches. I've personally planned several Grand Gatherings for my family (up to 18 people) and understand how challenging...but very rewarding...it will be.

You'll make memories that will last a lifetime!
