I am so excited to hEAR that you are
planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! The Most Magical Place on Earth will be celebrating its 50th birthday in 2021, so that will be a wonderful time to visit! There are so many
new and exciting things planned for the Walt Disney World Resort in the not too distant future, and I am so glad that you will get to experience some of those things during your next trip.
An exact date has not been announced as to when 2021
vacation packages will be available for booking. However, in the past, vacation packages for the upcoming year typically have opened for booking during the summer. For example, guests were able to begin booking their 2020 vacation packages in June of 2019. As it gets closer to summer, keep checking the
Walt Disney World website for vacation package availability, and be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog for all of the latest news and announcements.
When you book your vacation package online, you will be asked to pay a deposit. Your balance will not be due until much closer to your trip. However, if you would prefer to pay off your balance a little at a time, you may continue to make payments online at your convenience. Along with your
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and your
theme park tickets, you may also choose to add a
Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package. If you purchase a Disney Dining Plan, it will simply be added on to the total price of your vacation. There is no need to make separate payments for your Disney Dining Plan.
If you would like to get a head start on your vacation plans, you might want to consider making a room-only reservation. Room-only reservations can be booked up to 499 days in advance. If you wish to make a room-only reservation, you will need to call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservation line at 407-939-1936. You will then have the option to modify that room-only reservation to a vacation package with theme park tickets and a Disney Dining Plan once 2021 vacation packages are available for booking.
