HI there! My family and I will be in DW 4/5-4/8 and are so excited. It'll be daughter (7 yrs old) 1st time. Wanting to see fireworks. What are some of the best spots to see them? Do they happen everyday? Can't wait for your answer. Thanks so much

    Hi Crystal,

I'm so excited for you & your family! Be sure to stop by Guest Relations & pick up a "1st Visit" button for your daughter - great free souvenEAR!

I checked the calendars for the Wishes at MK; Illuminations at Epcot & Fantasmic! at DHS during your visit. Wishes is scheduled for 10 p.m. every night during your visit. Illuminations is scheduled for 9 p.m. every night during that time. Fantasmic! is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. during those dates. Please remember the schedule is subject to change so you may want to check the on-line calendar again closer to your visit.  To check the online calendar for April for DHS click here; for MK click here & for Epcot click here.  From there click on a specific day for a schedule of parades & nighttime displays.

You can see Wishes from many locations throughout the park. My favorite is in the Rose Garden because Tinker Bell flies right over your head from Cinderella Castle to Tomorrowland. Illuminations can be viewed anywhere in the World Showcase that offers a clear view of the lagoon. Check for the direction the wind is blowing & sit opposite of it so that the smoke from the fireworks doesn't head towards you. For Fantasmic!, any seat in the theater is good - just avoid sitting behind the big poles that can obstruct your view for some portions of the performance.

Wherever you decide to sit for any of the night time entertainment, make sure you arrive way early & plan to stick it out. You're traveling during a very busy week but you have several days to see it all.  Relax & enjoy!  Wishing you magical memories!
