Hi Carrie,
I hope you're counting down the days until all of the magic and fun because your visit to "The Most Magical Place on Earth" will be here before you know it! You're visiting during one of my
favorite times of the year. With the entire Resort in full-on
holiday mode, you'll head back home with a heart FULL of Disney magic, wonderful memories, and holiday joy!
I'm happy to put your mind at ease and let you know that there are no plans for
Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor at Magic Kingdom Park to close. You'll even find daily hours for the dates of your visit posted under the calendar on the attraction's page. Plus, the Disney Parks Blog recently announced some new
festive updates to the show for this year's Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. I hope that your daughter will LOVE laughing along with her favorite friends from the monster world during your visit. Did you know that Guests are able to text in jokes before the show even starts? Have her start thinking about ones she'd like to share, and maybe her joke will be chosen to be part of the show!
As a mama to a Mouseketeer with autism myself, I wanted to make sure you saw this handy dandy
guide for planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort with a Guest with autism. It has LOTS of wonderful tips about how to help your princess feel comfortable before and during her vacation, and we've personally found these tips and services to be such a blessing for our family. I hope they are for yours, too.
Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again, Carrie, and please feel free to keep your great questions coming. I hope that you and your family have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
