My family of 5 are going to DW in Aug for a wk. My 16yo only likes the waterparks. Can we get a package deal for DH, me and our 9 and 10yr but have our 16yo share our hotel room and only get him waterpark tickets and pay for his meals?

    Hi Valarie,

Glad your family is planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. And it’s only a few more months away.

Magic Your Way Vacation Packages give you the convenience of resort hotel accommodations and theme park tickets. And it’s the only way to get a Disney Dining Plan. The ticket and dining options however, must be the same for all members of the family. You could keep the theme park tickets at a minimum required for the package, and then once you arrive add the corresponding options and number of days to the individual tickets. If you are not interested in the Disney Dining Plan, then you would have to book a room only reservation and purchase tickets separately.

Now, I’m pretty sure that your teenager will definitely find something interesting in the theme parks. I have two boys (15 and 18) and they love all of them. From conquering the mountains of Magic Kingdom Park, to adrenaline rush on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, with Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain and Test Track in between, there’s something for every taste.

Maybe your son would want to enjoy the water parks during the day, but could join you at a theme park in the evening. And later take advantage of the evening Extra Magic Hours. See you real soon!
