My family is going to DW in April. What is there to do if it rains?

Just make sure your family has ponchos and umbrellas and you can still enjoy the Parks!  Don't let a little rain keep you in the Resort room, but if lightening and thunder are involved stay put for a bit and wait for that to pass. A nice thing about Florida is a lot of times the showers end as quickly as they begin.

We purchase ponchos at our local dollar store, but Disney has cute MIckey Mouse ones that magically appear with that first rain drop for you to purchase in the Parks and Resort Gift Shops.  I even bring extra flip-flops in my bag for the family to put on during warm rainy weather...ones that I don't mind if they get soaked.

There are plenty of attractions in the Parks that are indoors and we just kind of hop from attraction to attraction, dodging rain in between.  And the gift shops and restaurants are always nice dry places to pop into for a bit!

Don't let a little rain stop your vacation from being Magical! I hope you have a great time!
