My family will be driving a rental car from San Diego to Paradise Pier Hotel for a quick Disney park day. My reservation says there’s a drop-off location for my Alamo car rental at the Paradise Pier Hotel address. Is this a true drop-off option?

Ka-chow, David! Welcome back to planDisney!

Your family road trip up the California coast sounds like the perfect summer escape, with the best destination ever - 'The Happiest Place on Earth!'

There are a few options for car rental locations on or near the Disneyland Resort property. I confirmed with a Cast Member today that the location on-site at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel is now Enterprise Rent-A-Car®. Keep in mind that the hotel is currently undergoing refurbishments, so I suggest calling ahead of time to verify their services and hours of operation.

Disneyland Resort also partners with other car rental service providers that have locations nearby, including Alamo® and National®. In fact, if you are booking a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package, you will find the option to add ground transportation including a rental car to the package. Because you may require a one-way rental from your location in San Diego to the Disneyland Resort area, you may need to call and speak with a Cast Member in Guest Services to learn more about the options available to you, if you opt to book a vacation package.

Lastly, I wanted to share the Getting Here by Car page as a resource ahead of your trip, David. It has some helpful information about parking, tram service, and other transportation options around the Disneyland Resort area. I hope your family is gearing up for a turbo-charged adventure, David. And of course, we can't talk about traveling by car without mentioning the cutest little town in Carburetor County - Radiator Springs! Cars Land is just brimming with thrilling attractions, immersive theming, and tasty treats. It is one of my favorite places in Disney California Adventure Park! I sampled the Esquite Corn Fritters at the Cozy Cone Motel during my last visit and they were a great snack to refuel for the day.

If we can lend any more advice to take your next Disneyland Resort visit into overdrive, please swing by planDisney again soon!
