Hi there, Jeelissa!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you stopped by with your question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation aboard the Disney Dream! I absolutely love
Halloween on the High Seas sailings – don’t forget your costumes for onboard Halloween fun!
When you complete your
Online Check-In, you will choose a port arrival time - when you will arrive at Port Canaveral for check-in and registration. Disney Cruise Line staggers the arrival times to reduce wait times and longer than necessary lines, which when traveling with children is always a nice thing! I would suggest scheduling your Disney Cruise Line transfer after completing your Online Check-In and choosing your Port Arrival Time so they align! If you are a first time cruiser, your window for check-in will open 75 days prior to your sail date. Disney Cruise Line ground transfers need to be booked at least three days prior to your departure, so you will have plenty of time in between Check-In and your sail date to schedule those!
When your Check-In window opens, your onboard reservation window also opens! At this time you will be able to book any onboard activities that require reservations such as Character Breakfast tickets, Princess Gathering tickets, spa reservations, adult-exclusive dining reservations and much more! You can also book any
Port Adventures for your days at port and I recommend exploring the excursions offered prior to your window opening so you have an idea of what you want to do!
Wishing you a wonderful and magical cruise!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
