Hi I want to take my family but don't even know where to start planning, any suggestions... I've never been myself so I don't how to even go about it

Hello Amanda and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel where it's absolutely our delight to assist you in making plans for your 1st ever trip to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort!
Now let's start at the very beginning, because it's a very good place to start - for me the magic of any Disney trip begins with familiarisation of the fabulous Disney.go.com website and perhaps a few thoughts on which Disney Resort hotel best meets your needs or which current Disney Parks Special Offers appeals to your family including at select times amazing combined stay, play and dine special offers. And to further help you may wish to take a peek at the Benefits of Staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel and utilise this handy gizmo for Comparing Disney Resort hotels.
Now let's not forget you'll need to create a My Disney Experience account which provides the perfect one-stop-spot to combine Disney Resort hotel reservations, MagicBands, Memory Maker plus a magical place to make and store FastPass+ selections and Advanced Dining Reservations and much more besides.
If I can help sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort please do pop back to ask me another question.
