Hello there Mary, welcome to planDisney!
How exciting that you have a trip to the "Most Magical Place on Earth" coming up soon! I am loving all of the beautiful and festive holiday decor in all of the theme parks, it's impossible not to get into the holiday spirit!
If you are going to utilize your
Park Hopper tickets to head to Magic Kingdom Park after spending time at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, I actually recommend driving to Magic Kingdom Park if you will have your car there.
It is very convenient to drive between all of the theme parks, my husband and I were able to easily drive between several parks in one day during our trip earlier this year, and once you pay for
theme park parking at your first park, it is valid for all 4 theme parks.
Also, since Magic Kingdom Park closes later than Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, there may not be
Disney Bus Transportation available to get back to the park. If you have your car already at the Transportation and Ticket Center, you can stay at Magic Kingdom Park as long as you'd like, even until the park closes! Once you leave Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, you'll drive to the Transportation and Ticket Center, and then you can take the Walt Disney World Monorail or a
ferryboat to the gates of Magic Kingdom Park.
We love staying until the later hours at Magic Kingdom Park, there's something magical about a late night ride on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad or TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise. If you already have your car there, you won't need to worry about turning into a pumpkin before midnight!
I hope this information is helpful for your upcoming trip, Mary! If we can help with any other questions,
please come back to planDisney and ask!
Have a magical day!
Melissa
