Hi there, Karyn, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're counting down the days to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and you must be so excited! I'm so happy that you're here with this great question. Now is the perfect time to think about details that will help you and your little one have a great time at the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Karyn, you'll be happy to know that you can stop by the
Stroller Rental location at
Magic Kingdom Park when you arrive for
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. You'll find this underneath the train station near the entrance of the park. Strollers are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and they can not be reserved ahead of time. Another important detail to keep in mind is that the stroller needs to be returned before you exit the park.
With a late party, you might want to have a stroller that can get you all the way to your destination to ensure a seamless transition to bed. If you decide that you'd rather rent a stroller from a third-party provider, you can find great options at ScooterBug, the Disney Featured Provider.
My family recently rented from ScooterBug, and it was so nice because they dropped off the stroller at my
Disney Resorts Collection hotel and picked it up when we checked out. We also opted to rent the rain cover, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Lastly, the strollers they offer can recline, which makes them super comfortable for your little one. While the strollers offered at the Disney Theme Parks drive and steer like a dream, they're made of hard plastic and aren't designed for napping. Depending on your little one's age, you have multiple good options!
Karyn, I hope your sweet family has the best time during your vacation! Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have. As a fellow mom, I'm here for you - you have a friend in me!
See ya real soon!
