Ahoy there, Christine!
Welcome aboard
planDisney! Thanks for dropping anchor with us as you prepare for your magical adventure next month. Embarking on a
specialty fireworks cruise is my favorite way to celebrate a special occasion in
Walt Disney World, and I know you'll love this unique experience as well. Let's chart a course for success on your journey!
Valet parking at the resort from which your cruise will depart is a great idea. When you approach the resort entrance, be prepared to give the parking attendant your specialty cruise confirmation number, the name on the reservation, and a photo ID. Let the Cast Member know you plan to valet park for the day, and they will direct you to the appropriate area.
I hope this is helpful! If you've never sailed on a specialty fireworks cruise, I'll share a few quick tips for making the most of this experience.
*Expect a call confirming your trip details a day or two in advance. You'll receive more exact information regarding the meeting place and boarding time. Most cruises depart about an hour before the fireworks begin.
*Your cruise will go out rain or shine, so if showers are predicted, pack some ponchos!
*Speaking of weather, the air can be chilly on the lagoon in the evening, so bring sweatshirts or jackets to stay comfortable on your pontoon boat.
*The captain will provide complimentary snacks and soft drinks. If you don't finish your goodies, you can take them. My kids enjoy snacking on Mickey Mouse-shaped crisped rice treats for days after a cruise!
Best wishes for smooth sailing and a memorable evening, Christine. I know your vacation is right around the corner, but if there is anything else we can do before you leave, please don't hesitate to reach out again. Thanks for visiting us at planDisney, and we'll
sea ya real soon!
