    My family will be doing our first cruise in December to Nassau. I am looking into the Atlantis for my 11 year old son but it is very expensive. He is really interested in the water park. Which of the activities offered at Atlantis would you recommend?

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and CONGRATULATIONS on your first Disney cruise. After your inaugural sailing this December, your family will be welcomed as Castaways with Disney Cruise Line, and you will be part of our Disney family!

    The Atlantis Aquaventure is an exciting water park that my family has enjoyed many times over. It has a mixture of thrilling water slides, a tube floating river experience, and plenty of gorgeous swimming pools. Along with the fun of the water park, you will be able to experience The Dig which is an amazing aquarium filled with fishes, sharks, stingrays and crustaceans. After that, you can shop at Atlantis or visit one of the gaming halls.

    I know it can be expensive, so if you are budgeting your gold doubloons, consider the Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day which offers enjoyment of Nassau’s beautiful beaches for a fraction of the cost. Also, your crew can debark the ship and explore the shops on the dock for free.
