    My family doesn't plan on buying a dining plan but I wanted to buy a refillable cup. Is this an option? If so, where do we buy them?

    Hi Amanda,

    I am happy to confirm that if you are staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Resort refillable mugs are available for purchase. The mugs are also included with select Disney Dining Plans, but can also be purchased separately without a dining plan at all Disney Resort hotels. The refillable mugs entitle guests to unlimited refills of fountain drinks, hot chocolate, coffee or tea at select self-service beverage stations throughout the duration of a Disney Resort hotel stay for up to fourteen consecutive calendar days.

    Refillable mugs are available for purchase at most quick service restaurants at all Disney Resort hotels. The Cast Member who completes your transaction will activate the RFID (radio frequency identification) technology in the mug which will then allow you to start using your mug at select self-service beverage stations.  Be sure to inquire at your Resort hotel as to where all beverage stations are located so that you can take full advantage of your mug.  

    At the time of my last stay, the price for the refillable mugs was $17.99 (not including sales tax). In addition to being able to enjoy unlimited hot or cold beverages throughout the duration of our Resort hotel stay, our family loves to take our mugs home following our vacation, keeping them as souvenirs of our trip and pulling them out whenever we need a little extra Disney Magic in our day.

    While unfortunately there is currently no refillable mug program at Walt Disney World Theme Parks, they are available at both Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.
