My family and I are going to the Disneyworld Parks in mid Sept. How much does it cost to rent a stroller in the parks? Also do we have to worry about there not being enough strollers to rent?

    Joe,

There are a few choices for rentals. You can rent them from Disney at around $15 per day for a single, $30 for a double stroller. Prices can change, so budget accordingly. There are sometimes also "length of stay" rentals you can make, where you save some money by booking a stroller for the duration of your vacation. Typically we are talking about saving maybe $1 to $2 per day, tops.

Note that these are in-theme-park strollers. You pick them up as you enter a theme park, and return them before you exit. So they are not with you when you are on the way to and from your resort hotel.

There are stroller rental companies also in Orlando that will rent you strollers that you can use during your entire stay. They typically drop them off at your resort, then pick them up on your departure day. I have typically brought my own stroller, so I don't have a lot of experience here, but I have friends who swear by them.

Finally, no, I don't think in September you will have to worry about them running out. It does happen at busier times of the year, but with the lighter crowds of September you should have no problems!

As a veteran of several two-seater-stroller vacations, please feel free to send me any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
