My family is going to Disneyworld in November for our Honeymoon and my mother and aunts' birthday. My 2 year old son and I have severe dairy allergies so any recommendations on snacks that we can eat while we are walking around the parks?

    Hiya, Evelynn!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your allergy question! Oh boy, your November trip sounds like pure pixie dust—a honeymoon with your Prince Charming and birthday celebrations for your mother and aunt? That’s a whole lot of magic packed into one trip!

Now, let’s dive right into your dairy allergy concerns. As a mom of a little one with food allergies—and someone with allergies myself—I completely understand the importance of finding delicious and safe snacks in the parks. From our experience, my lactose-intolerant daughter loves snacking on Mickey Pretzels (without cheese) and fresh-popped popcorn. The pretzels contain only wheat/gluten and corn allergens, while Disney’s popcorn is popped in coconut oil. But here’s a friendly reminder from Remy—always double-check with a Cast Member, as ingredients can change, we still check every time we are in the park and that's almost monthly!

For table-service and select quick-service restaurants, be sure to inform the Cast Member about the dairy allergy. You’ll be given an allergy-friendly menu, and I highly recommend speaking with a Chef for additional options—Disney Chefs work wonders to ensure safe and magical meals!

Pro Tip: Before your trip, check out the My Disney Experience App—many restaurants list allergy-friendly options right on the menu. While Disney can’t guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment, we’ve always found it to be the best place for our family’s dietary needs. Last Evelynn, remember you can always bring food and snacks into the park for your little one, but I am sure you will also find great options.

Evelynn, I hope this helps bring you some peace of mind before your trip! I'm sure your honeymoon and celebration will be filled with safe and scrumptious treats, making it a truly magical experience. If you have any more questions, come back and see us!

    See you real soon,
