hello! my family is going to disneyworld for the first time in less than 4 days! we cant wait! however, the forecast shows thunderstorms every day that we'll be there! what can we do!? :(

First things first, George, go into your trip with the mindset that a little rain won't dampen your spirits!  The good news is that Florida summer storms are famous for coming down hard and heavy, and passing relatively quickly.  You can expect to go about your touring with little impact from the rain.  Just be sure to bring along some ponchos for the family; you won't be the only ones wearing them.  If you're caught out in the rain, try to duck into a lengthy show or attraction.  By the time it's finished the rain will likely have let up significantly.  Enjoy your trip!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
