A gift from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello, My family and I are going to Disneyland Resort this week and we would like to know what kind of identifications are accepted to prove residency. Unfortunately, my husband lost his license recently and still haven't received the new one.

    Hey A gift!

    Welcome to planDisney!

Mickey, Minnie and the rest of their friends cannot wait to welcome you back to the Happiest Place on Earth! I hope you're excited to return to a land of Magic, Fun and Enchantment! On my most recent trip, I had an amazing time and everything was better than I remembered! Sleeping Beauty Castle was shining bright and vibrant and I was able to enjoy all of my favorite attractions. I especially enjoyed Snow White’s Enchanted Wish! This attraction has been reimagined and it was so fun to experience this classic fairy tale ride with the Fairest of Them All! Make sure you stop by Fantasyland and enjoy the ride for yourself!

As you mentioned, guests wanting to visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park must be California residents. When making a theme park reservation, you must attest that you are a California resident and the system will not allow you to make one if you are not. When you get to the turnstiles, you may be asked for proof of residency through a government issued ID, Driver’s license, University/ College ID or Military ID if stationed here in California. Since your husband lost his Driver’s License, he can bring his temporary license that is issued when you request a new license.

Well A gift, if you need anything else before your next trip please come back and let us know.

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
