Hi there, Juanita!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m thrilled to hear you’re planning a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth for Thanksgiving! My own family has spent Thanksgiving at the
Disneyland Resort twice, and we made so many special memories there. Both theme parks will have lots of
holiday-themed decor, attractions, food and entertainment for you all to enjoy!
Several restaurants in the theme parks and at the Disneyland Resort Hotels will feature special Thanksgiving Day menus, including Napa Rose, Steakhouse 55, Goofy’s Kitchen, Storytellers Cafe, Carnation Cafe, and Cafe Orleans. Any of these would be an excellent choice for your meal. However, the crown jewel of Thanksgiving meal offerings is the special buffet available at the
Disneyland Hotel’s Grand Ballroom, which my family and I enjoyed for the first time a few years ago. Along with an elaborate selection of cuisine, including traditional turkey with all the trimmings and a variety of decadent desserts, you’ll find several Disney Characters stationed around the perimeter of the ballroom for photos with Guests. This is a very popular event that sells out annually, and reservations typically open in late September. Be sure to call (714) 781-DINE to book as early as you can for the best selection of seating times.
I hope this helps you make plans, Juanita. Please visit us again with any other questions you can dream of as your vacation draws near!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
