Hi! My family has tickets/reservations to Disneyland next week with some friends and I didn't realize they also booked their tickets to go to California Adventures. Can we switch one of our days to go to California Adventures instead?

Hi there, Gina. Welcome to planDisney.

I’m delighted to see you’ll soon be heading to the Happiest Place on Earth with your family and friends! If you wish to switch from visiting Disneyland Park to Disney California Adventure Park (as your starting park before 1 PM), Hakuna Matata! You certainly can do so, provided that spots are still available. Before changing your reservation, please be sure to check out the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see if Disney California Adventure Park is available on the day you wish to visit. In order to switch parks, you’ll need to first cancel your current park reservation for Disneyland Park. Then, return to the “Theme Park Tickets & Reservations” page and under “If you’ve already purchased a ticket:”, click on “Make Park Reservations”. Pick the date and new park you wish to visit and confirm your selections. Once your new reservation is processed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a unique QR code.

I hope this information is helpful for you, Gina. For more trip-planning questions, please feel free to write us again. We’re all EARS!

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
