Dear Jordan,
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I think your six-year old son is in for a treat at the
Disneyland Resort!
I have several ideas that can add extra Pixie Dust to your vacation, but first, I wanted to share that Disney frequently works with wish-granting organizations.
The Disney Wish Program is a partnership between the Disneyland Resort and approved nonprofit wish-granting organizations that help kids with serious medical conditions. In case you haven't looked into this program, it may be worthwhile to check it out.
Now, in terms of offering your son a Magical time, I would start by booking one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels for your vacation. This way, you can return to your room at any time for breaks or to enjoy the many wonderful amenities.
I would also purchase an
In-Room Celebration package celebrating Triumph for your little champion who has endured so much. You can request to have your room decorated and surprise your little one upon arrival or select another time for a Cast member to decorate and create a fun and festive atmosphere.
When it comes to Park attractions, your little one may qualify for a
Disability Access Service card, which is a tremendous benefit for guests with special needs because it prevents them from waiting in a conventional queue
environment in order to enjoy Park attractions.
chEARs!
