    My family and I will be going to Disneyland in July and staying in a 3 bedroom suite at the Disneyland Hotel! My father was in the military, and plan on using the military discount. Can we use Disney gift cards for the military tickets bought at the gate?

    Thanks for bringing your great questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I would like to first start by thanking your father for his military service. The Disneyland Resort is very committed to saluting active and retired U.S. Military personnel through some very generous promotions. The military promotion for 3-Day and 4-Day Park Hopper Tickets is the most popular of these great benefits. I always buy these tickets at my local base ticket office, because it saves time when we start our vacation at the parks. As far as I know you cannot purchase these park tickets at your local military base with Disney Gift Cards. You may purchase them at the Disneyland Resort Ticket Booths using Disney Gift Cards, but it is recommended you purchase them at your local base before arrival.

    The Disneyland Resort Hotels offer a limited number of promotional military rates. If this wasn't discussed when you originally made your reservation, you will have to call 714-520-5050 to see if military rates are still available for your room type and dates of travel. I have to say I am really excited for your stay in a 3-Bedroom Suite at the Disneyland Hotel! While I have never personally stayed in one, the pictures alone are stunning. You are going to have an unforgettable stay with your family.

    Don't forget to also take advantage of the wonderful military discount on the Disney PhotoPass Collection which can be purchased inside Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. This gives you unlimited downloads of PhotoPass picture memories taken during your trip!
