Hiya Kathy, and welcome to planDisney!
Can you believe your Disneyland Resort adventure is just one week away? How exciting! It sounds like you're already doing a fantastic job planning a magical visit for your family. I can certainly understand how your excitement led you to purchase
Lightning Lane Multi Pass—when I’m at Disneyland, I want to experience absolutely everything, and that’s a great way to do just that!
You'll be happy to know that you can absolutely still register for
Disability Access Service (DAS) for your daughter! In fact, you can register as early as 60 days before your visit. There are a couple of convenient ways to do that. If you'd like to take care of it before you arrive, you can register online by visiting the
DAS registration page and participating in a live video chat with a friendly Cast Member. Alternatively, you can register in person on the day of your visit. Simply stop by the
Accessibility Services Kiosk near the Main Entrance Esplanade between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Please note, either way you choose to register, your daughter will need to be present during the conversation, as she's the one who will be utilizing DAS.
Now, let’s chat about your question regarding a refund for your Lightning Lane Multi Pass. I know this isn't exactly the pixie-dusted answer you were hoping for, Kathy, but the Disneyland
e-ticket terms and conditions note that Lightning Lane Multi Pass is generally non-refundable. However, here's where a little extra magic might come into play! My best recommendation would be to discuss this directly with the Cast Member when you're registering for DAS. While I can't guarantee a specific outcome, they are truly wonderful at finding solutions and might be able to work some Disney magic for you. It's always worth asking!
Last, but certainly not least, I also wanted to share some extra magic about your upcoming trip! You'll be visiting during the
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration! Get ready for exciting new experiences, vibrant entertainment, and special treats that will make your visit even more unforgettable. My favorite recommendation is to grab a spot on Main Street, U.S.A. or near
“it’s a small world” for the
Paint the Night parade. With more than one million sparkling lights (literally!), it’s a must-see. If you find yourself at Disney California Adventure Park, then you simply must check out
World of Color Happiness! as well. And for your taste buds, prepare for a delicious array of
limited-time celebratory food and beverage options across the entire resort, from unique churros to themed treats and savory bites!
I hope this helps you prepare for a truly wonderful trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, Kathy! The countdown is on, and the magic is calling! If you think of any other questions before you wave hello to Mickey and Minnie, just let us know. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
