Hi, Elizabeth!
I'm so glad to hear you’re planning to enjoy the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. My family spent this past Thanksgiving at the Happiest Place on Earth, and we loved every pixie-dusted minute!
By mid-November, both theme parks have lots of holiday-themed decor, attractions, food and entertainment for Guests to experience. At Disneyland Park, highlights include Haunted Mansion Holiday, A Christmas Fantasy Parade, and the
“Believe...In Holiday Magic” Fireworks Spectacular. After the fireworks, snow falls in the skies above “it’s a small world” Holiday in Fantasyland, over portions of Main Street, U.S.A., and near the Rivers of America as a special seasonal treat! At Disney California Adventure Park, you’ll want to experience
Disney Festival of Holidays and the holiday decor and themed attractions in Cars Land.
Staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel is a great idea because you’ll be immersed in magic from start to finish and you’ll be able to enjoy perks like early theme park entry every morning of your stay. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is my favorite hotel to visit during the holiday season. The towering Christmas tree in the hotel lobby fits the theme, with ornaments reminiscent of the Arts and Crafts movement. The joyful sounds of Christmas carolers fill the lobby from time to time, and Santa Claus himself is there to visit with Guests from mid-November through Christmas Eve. I hope this helps, Elizabeth. Please visit us again with any other planning questions you can dream of!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
