Welcome back Gracie!
Thanks for bringing your great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Celebrating Christmas at the Disneyland Resort is going to be a magical experience you won't forget. From festive decorations to attractions that have literally transformed for the season, you are in for such a treat. Speaking of treats, there will also be many sweet seasonal surprises baked up throughout the parks.
I just love the weather at the Disneyland Resort this time of year. No matter what the weather, though, the California sun is always present so definitely bring sunscreen. During the day, it is usually warm but not too hot. The early morning and evenings do get pretty chilly, so I usually like to wear layers. After it warms up in the morning, I like to keep my sweatshirt or jacket in one of the
convenient lockers located at Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. You can access these lockers all day for one price, which is perfect if you need to wear warmer clothes later in the evening when it cools down again. I also find I do feel colder when I am in the middle of the magical snow falling during the
"Believe...In Holiday Magic" Fireworks Spectacular.
Make sure you don't miss the seasonal attraction experiences only available during this time of year like "it's a small world" Holiday, Haunted Mansion Holiday, Mater's Jingle Jamboree, and Luigi's Joy to the Whirl. I also get so excited seeing the many holiday window displays down Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park and Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park.
I'd love to help you plan more pixie-dusted details of your holiday vacation. Remember You've Got a Friend in Me here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
