    Hello, my family and I will be going to Disneyland in December. I was wondering if you knew when Ballast Point would be opening in Downtown Disney? We will be there December 8-11. Thank you.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love helping other families from New Mexico plan trips to the Happiest Place on Earth!

    Disneyland Resort's Downtown Disney District is undergoing so many exciting changes this year. For example, this week brings the newly re-imagined World of Disney with a fresh new look. Like you, I am also so excited to see that San Diego-based brewer, Ballast Point, is set to open later this year in the Downtown Disney District. It will bring award-winning brews along with mouth-watering California-inspired cuisine to its first Orange County location. We still don't have an official opening date for this establishment so it is still unclear if it will be open for your early December trip.

    In the meantime, there are some great craft beer choices located all around the Disneyland Resort. My favorite spot to grab a refreshing drink is in Disney California Adventure Park at the various Quick Service locations in this park. Keep an eye out, because selections change often and are different throughout the park. Did you know that with the free official Disneyland app you can even mobile order craft beers at select Quick Service restaurants here bypassing the lines? It's such a convenient new feature.
