Hey howdy hey, Joseph! You’ve got a friend in me at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and I’d love to help you with your question!
I’m so excited for the
phased reopening of
Disneyland Resort starting in July! What a wonderful Christmas gift you and your family received, too! Yes, I do believe you should be able to redeem your 3-Day Park Hopper Tickets to be used with the
new reservation system when it becomes available. To get started, I recommend linking your tickets to the
Disneyland app. After creating a Disney account, scroll down until you find “My Tickets,” then, in the top right corner, click on the blue “+”. Select the option to “Link Tickets & Passes.” Next, scan the barcode for each ticket that you’d like to link, or enter the ID numbers manually. Then, continue entering the remaining tickets for your family in the same manner. Please keep in mind, however, that this information pertains to tickets purchased through Disneyland Resort, and not necessarily to tickets issued by outside vendors. If you aren’t able to scan and link your tickets, I recommend calling (714) 781-4636 for additional help from a Cast Member. They should be able to help you determine if you’ll be able to link your tickets to your Disney account so you can participate in the new reservation system when it becomes available.
As for the expiration date of your tickets, I recommend
checking out this link on Disneyland.com, so you can determine which type of ticket you have, and if any expiration extensions are being offered. According to this
“Update on Disneyland Resort Operations” page, wholly unused multi-day tickets are valid for a future visit through the end of their respective validity period. I recommend checking your individual tickets for more details. If you’re able to link your tickets to the Disneyland app, you should be able to see your expiration date there, too.
The Disneyland Resort hasn’t announced when the new theme-park reservation system will be available just yet. Here’s
what we do know: The Resort will manage attendance through a new reservation system that will require all Guests to obtain a reservation for park entry in advance. Reservations will be subject to availability. We should have more information about this new system soon, so I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and on
Disneyland.com for the latest updates.
I hope this information helps. Joseph! Please stop by with any additional questions… we’re all EARs!
