Hey there Miguel,
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for your question - you're speaking my language here! The
holiday season is my absolute favorite time of year to visit the Disneyland Resort. My family and I love visiting in mid-late November and have done so for the last few years.
They do typically close
"it's a small world" for its transformation into
"it's a small world" Holiday. The closure typically takes place for a couple of weeks around the end of October until the holiday season officially starts, which has been Veteran's Day weekend the last 3-4 years.
While there have been no official announcements yet about this year's "it's a small world" closure or about the kick-off date of the holiday season, I would expect to hear more on the
Disney Parks Blog in the next month or two.
Having said that, it looks like you specified an arrival date of November 22, which I think would be a very safe bet for the holiday season to be in full swing at the Disneyland Resort - including "it's a small world" Holiday.
There isn't much that can beat this time of year at the Happiest (or rather, Merriest) place on Earth! The light displays, holiday cheer, treats, and more make this my family's favorite time to visit. It really is the best!
In addition to "it's a small world" Holiday, make sure to also check out
Haunted Mansion Holiday in New Orleans Square. Also, over in Disney California Adventure Park, you'll find Cars Land to be extra festive with
Mater's Jingle Jamboree and
Luigi's Joy to the Whirl. You just can't miss
A Christmas Fantasy Parade - it's a classic! In years past, there has also been a fantastic Santa meet-and-greet at
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Disney California Adventure Park.
Again, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all of this year's details. Thanks again for your question, Miguel! I hope you have the merriest of visits to the Disneyland Resort later this year.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
