Hey there, Amanda,The magic of the Disney Parks is real. We feel joy and wonder in our hearts with every song, attraction, character, and evening spectacular. That ability to affect how we feel without physically touching us is a special reason we return again and again to both The Most Magical Place on Earth and The Happiest Place on Earth. The magic of Disney Parks includes special applications of technology. As an engineer, I am there for it! I geek out over the ways that the MyMagic+ ecosystem integrates with our Walt Disney World Resort vacations. MagicBands and Disney MagicMobile Service provide direct interfaces between Guests and the magic to be found. Coming in 2022, that will be expanded with the introduction of MagicBand+.So far, we have learned how MagicBand+ will unlock exclusive experiences and interactions with the environment at the Walt Disney World Resort, including when visiting the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection and during nighttime spectaculars. I'm looking forward to learning about how this amazing technology will enhance our family vacation experience even more. And now we have learned that MyMagic+ and MagicBand+ technology will be coming to the Disneyland Resort in 2022 as well! The date for the debut of MagicBand+ at the Disneyland Resort isn't yet revealed. And there are certainly more details to be unveiled as well, including whether only MagicBand+ will be supported at the Disneyland Resort or if classic MagicBand and MagicBand 2 features will be offered too. While there are currently some unknowns there, one thing I believe is certain is that we will be able to learn more when official announcements are made on the Disney Parks Blog.In the meantime, here are some of my favorite ways to use technology to enhance the magic of a Disneyland Resort vacation:
