Hi Leslie,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
My family most often travels to the Walt Disney World Resort during the summer months of June, July and early August. Although there may not be any specific festivals in June, there are other ways to find a little extra special fun while on vacation!
Be sure to check the Disney Parks Blog for event updates as it gets closer to the dates of their trip. This summer, we enjoyed
Summer at Disney Springs when we visited. Check the AMC Movies at Disney Springs 24 movie schedule and grab your snacks for an awesome (and might I say, air-conditioned) movie experience. If your family desperately finds themselves searching for some calm, consider whether they will be there to
celebrate International Yoga Day. This year, we were all delighted to visit
Walt Disney World's 'Incredible Summer.' My girls and I loved seeing the characters in Magic Kingdom and took some SUPER cool photos. We had visions of ourselves saving the planet.
Leslie, of course, your family can always create their own excitement! Since our first travel day is usually hectic, we love having a relaxing dinner at California Grill while watching the spectacular storytelling in the Happily Ever After fireworks show. There are other ways to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust - we have done the Caring for Giants Tour at Disney's Animal Kingdom and Afternoon Tea at Garden View Tea Room. Our girls adored both experiences!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
