My family is going to Disney World the week between Christmas and New Years. What is the weather typically like at that time? I want to buy some special outfits for the girls ahead of time but don't know what type of attire would be good at that time.

    Hi Monique,

You will love traveling to Walt Disney World during the holidays! We traveled in a large group a few years ago during the week between Christmas and New Year's and had the most enjoyable trip, celebrating the spirit. Average temperatures in December range from a low of 53 to a high of 73. I would say more times than not, this week will be chilly, especially in the evenings. My best advice is to purchase something for the girls with sleeves and at least a crop pant. If the temperatures do randomly soar into the 80's, they can still wear the special outfits at nighttime, and if it's a colder week you can simply dress them in layers.

Be sure to keep an eye on the extended forecast as your trip approaches. Send us any other questions coming to mind, Monique. We are delighted to help you plan your special holiday trip to Walt Disney World.
