My family and I are going on a Disney World Trip. We plan to go to all 4 Parks, over the space of 5 days. This will be my family's first time at Epcot. Do you have any suggestions for the best things to do there?

Greetings, world traveler! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel to talk about my family's favorite theme park, EPCOT.

Ian, ever since I was just a small Mouseketeer, I have been captivated by the majesty of EPCOT. The combination of Future World and World Showcase gives you the feeling of visiting two theme parks in one. While EPCOT draws adult Guests to its popular festivals and international culinary offerings, my children enjoy the incredible attractions and unique Disney character opportunities. Soarin' Around the World and Spaceship Earth are among my family's top attractions in all of Walt Disney World. There is nothing more magical to a Frozen fan than spending time with Anna and Elsa at the Royal Sommerhus

You'll want to plan your family's time in EPCOT around attractions, dining, and special events. Take a look at the attraction lineup to see what appeals to your party. In addition to our aforementioned favorites, we make sure to experience Test Track, Frozen Ever After, and The American Adventure  on each visit. Be sure to keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for news about two exciting upcoming attractions that may be available during your vacation - Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

The next essential item to consider is dining, and Ian, there is SO much to consider! Adventurous foodies and reluctant eaters alike can find something to satisfy a rumbly tumbly. We like the variety of fresh options at Sunshine Seasons and the exotic flavors of Tangierine Café for quick-service dining. For table-service dining, we enjoy the authentic pizzas served at Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria and the tranquil, waterside setting at the San Angel Inn Restaurante. Take some time to review the menus, and make some Advanced Dining Reservations if you plan to have a table-service meal. Finally, no visit to EPCOT is complete for my family without dessert or a snack at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie. Take a stroll through France, and let the aromas draw you in!

Ian, because you will be visiting during  Walt Disney World's most festive time of year, I recommend reviewing the holiday offerings at EPCOT. The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is one of my favorite celebrations. Keep following the Disney Parks Blog next year as your vacation approaches.

I hope this has been helpful as you begin to plan your family's time in EPCOT. If there is anything else we can help with as your jolly holiday nears, please come back and see us again. We love to help!

    Adios! Au revoir! Ciao!
