Hello again, Janis!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m sure you’re eagerly awaiting your trip to the Disneyland Resort next year! I know you’ll be captivated by the magic of Walt Disney’s original theme park! There is so much to see and do at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, you’ll want at least two full days to experience it all!
While
Disneyland Park is very similar to the Magic Kingdom in Florida, there are a few unique attractions you’ll want to experience at “The Happiest Place on Earth!” Indiana Jones Adventure, Matterhorn Bobsleds, Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage and Mickey’s Toontown are all unique to Disneyland Park! And, while Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Haunted Mansion and “it’s a small world” can all be found at both parks, you’ll find subtle and not so subtle differences that make them worth experiencing while in California.
Make sure you head to
Disney California Adventure Park as well! This park is unlike any of the theme parks found in Florida and is definitely worth experiencing. There, you’ll find Cars Land, Pixar Pier and the all-new
Avengers Campus which will be opening soon!
If you’d like a day to explore the
Downtown Disney District and lounge by the pool at your
Disneyland Resort Hotel, I recommend adding an additional day to your stay.
I hope this advice helps you start planning your vacation to the Disneyland Resort! If you have any additional questions prior to your visit, please come back to see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
