My family and I are going to Disney World next October with a 14 & 16 month old. We will be there 10 days, 3 of which we want to relax and explore the resort outside the parks. What are some fun and free things to do with the kids besides downtown Disn

    Hi Stephanie!!

Thank you so much for your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!!!

I can totally relate with wanting to chill and relax some on your Walt Disney World Vacation!!  Since I have been taking my son, I have tried to factor this into my vacation planning as well.  It is definitely important to stay rested on a Walt Disney World Vacation, especially with children in tow!!

I do recommend enjoying Downtown Disney as it is mostly free and can easily fill a day outside of the theme parks.  I also love to "resort hop" on my free days.  This is so much fun to do as you get to see multiple Walt Disney World Resorts.  I would recommend taking Disney Transportation from the theme parks to visit the resorts you are interested in.  I would also suggest enjoying the pool(s) at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.  These are themed wonderfully and have some great touches and activities for the 14 and 16 month old children!

Please let me know if you have any other questions that I can help answer!!

    Have a magical day!!
