My family and I will be at Disney World in about a month. Is there secure areas for a stroller and bag while our whole family is on a ride?

    Hi James!

Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You came to the right place! As a mom of three, I have had my fair share of experience bringing my kids to the Walt Disney World Resort in a stroller and even a double stroller. Throughout the parks, you will find designated stroller parking areas. Keep in mind that these are not monitored or secure.  In all my years of visiting the parks, I never had an issue with my stroller or diaper bag. I highly recommend that if you are going to leave it unattended, do not leave anything valuable in the stroller and/or diaper bag. You may also want to consider bringing a backpack type of diaper bag, which you can comfortably carry with you on the attractions. Best way to look at it is that if you can bring the baby on the attraction, you can bring the diaper bag on the attraction.  Another option is to rent a locker for the day where you can keep all of your valuables or excess things. That way you do not have to worry about securing your stuff or carrying around a lot of things.

Here are a few stroller tips:

*I highly recommend that you bring a stroller cover as the rain can be rather unpredictable in Central Florida and the stroller parking areas are not covered.

*If you leave your stroller in a non-designated area, mostly likely a Cast Member will move the stroller to the closest designated stroller parking area and you will be spending some time looking for it. It is best if you look for the stroller parking signage and park it yourself.

*If you are concerned with something happening to your little’s ones stroller, you may want to consider renting a stroller at the parks or through a Disney Featured Provider

Did you know?: Within all four there parks there is a special place called the Baby Care Centers, where parents can take their little ones to feed, change or nurse. Be sure to check it out!

Hope this helps! It has been a pleasure assisting you James! Please feel free to send me any other questions you may have!
